March Simply Sewing 101

There are still a couple spots left in the March Simply Sewing class. Wednesday, March 9th at 6:30. We will be making this little girls twirl skirt. Jewelry Pouch

A little pouch for traveling. Pockets for rings and earrings and the center for necklaces and bracelets. It gathers closed for safe keeping. My mom made me this one a year ago and its awesome!  You will learn buttonholes and sewing in a circle.

Girly Skirt

(Don't mind the one in the picture, it's way cuter when its ironed but I didn't have time for that today) This is a easy little girls skirt, you will learn gathering and waist elastic casing. My pattern rage sizes are 6-12 months up to 10 years old. Just in time for Easter Sunday!

Simply Sewing 101

I will now be teaching a monthly sewing class here at my house. Simply Sewing 101 is great for beginners through advanced sewers! We will sew one project a month including receiving blanket, bag, purse, beginner quilting, hand binding, and children's clothing. You will learn basic sewing skills as well as more advanced skills like elastic waistbands, zippers and quilts.
Details:
* once a month class, held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, at my home in Santaquin
* $10 per class, includes pattern and instruction sheet
* no contract, come one month or every month
* you supply you own materials; including fabric, notions and thread
* bring your own sewing machine and basic sewing kit
* pre-pay is required one week in advance to hold your spot in class

I would also like to open it up to teaching private classes. Get you girl friends together, at least 10 to teach at your location. I would also like to get into Relief Society groups and craft clubs.
